Terms and conditions

Who we are

SupaGrip sells tapes, packaging materials and related products online.

SupaGrip is the trading name of a sole trader, Hasan Rasul, trading from 29 Castlemere Street, Rochdale, OL11 3SW, United Kingdom. That is also the address for returns. You can contact us by email. See our Contact page.

We are not registered for VAT.

These terms

These terms apply when you order from us. Please read them before you order.

We sell to both consumers and businesses. Some parts of these terms apply differently depending on which you are, and where that is the case it is said so. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that apply whatever these terms say, and nothing here takes them away.

Prices

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include everything you pay for the goods.

We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added at checkout and we cannot issue a VAT invoice. The price shown is the price you pay.

Delivery is charged separately and is shown before you pay. See our Delivery page.

We take the price from our own records when your order is processed, not from anything sent by your browser.

Placing an order and when a contract is made

When you place an order and pay, you are offering to buy from us. A contract between us is made when we dispatch your order, not when your payment goes through.

That means:

  • your payment being taken does not by itself mean we have accepted your order;
  • if there is a problem with your order before we dispatch it, we will contact you rather than dispatch something you did not expect;
  • once we dispatch, the contract is made and these terms apply to it.

We send you an email confirming that we have received your order and payment, and a second email when we dispatch it.

If stock is unavailable after you have paid

Occasionally an item can sell out between your payment and our packing it.

If that happens, we will contact you. We will not substitute a different product without asking you. We will agree with you what to do. That might be a suitable alternative, waiting for stock, or a full refund. The choice is yours.

If there is a problem with your order before dispatch

If we spot a genuine problem with an order before dispatch, we will contact you and agree what to do rather than simply cancelling it. Our intention is always to fulfil the orders we receive.

Payment

We accept payment by card, in pounds sterling, through Stripe's secure checkout. We do not handle or store your card details.

Your payment is taken at the time you order. If your payment does not complete, your order does not proceed.

Cancelling before dispatch

If you want to cancel an order before it is dispatched, email us as soon as you can with your order number. If we have not yet dispatched, we will cancel it and refund you in full.

Because we aim to dispatch within one working day, please contact us quickly.

This is in addition to any legal right to cancel you may have after delivery. See our Returns page.

Delivery

Delivery, dispatch times, delivery estimates and what happens if a parcel goes missing are set out on our Delivery page, which forms part of these terms.

Delivery times given anywhere on this site are estimates and not guarantees.

Returns, refunds and faulty goods

Returns, refunds, your legal right to cancel and what happens when goods are faulty are set out on our Returns page, which forms part of these terms.

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights, including that goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, and rights to reject, repair or replacement if they are not. Nothing in these terms reduces those rights.

If you are a business customer, the consumer rights described on the Returns page do not apply to you in the same way. Goods must still match their description and be of satisfactory quality, and we will deal with any genuine problem fairly.

Guarantees

We do not offer an additional SupaGrip guarantee or warranty beyond your legal rights. If a manufacturer provides a guarantee with a product, that is between you and the manufacturer, and it does not affect your legal rights against us.

Complaints and contact

If something has gone wrong, please email us with your order number and what has happened. We aim to reply within one working day, by which we mean Monday to Saturday, excluding UK bank holidays.

We would always rather hear from you and put something right than have you dissatisfied.

Things outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, for example severe weather, carrier disruption or interruptions to services we rely on. If something like that happens we will let you know and, where the delay is substantial, you can cancel and receive a refund for anything not yet dispatched.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you order is the one that applies to your order.
