Gladiator Aluminium Foil Tape is a high-performance metallic sealing tape for ducting, insulation, pipework and demanding repair jobs where a conventional cloth or packaging tape is not the right choice.
Made for ducting, insulation and metal-faced repairs
The aluminium foil construction gives the finished joint a neat metallic surface that works particularly well alongside ventilation ducting, foil-faced insulation and other metal components. Use it to join suitable foil surfaces, close seams, reinforce localised areas or complete general HVAC and insulation maintenance.
Useful where heat and moisture matter
This tape is designed for applications where exposure to changing temperatures and moisture makes an ordinary general-purpose tape less suitable. Its heat-resistant and water-resistant performance makes it a practical addition to heating, ventilation, insulation and maintenance supplies.
A strong 50mm wide repair strip
The 50mm width provides useful coverage across seams and joints without becoming cumbersome around smaller pipework or fittings. With 10 metres on the roll, there is enough material for repeated repairs, shorter installation jobs and routine maintenance.
Why use aluminium foil tape instead of gaffer tape?

Where is aluminium foil tape most useful?

How to use
Apply to a clean, dry and sound surface free from dust, grease, condensation and loose material. Cut the required length, position the tape over the seam, joint or repair area and press firmly along the complete strip. Smooth the foil into the surface and around edges where required to maximise contact. Avoid applying over unstable, dirty or wet surfaces.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from excessive moisture, contamination and direct sunlight. Keep the roll protected when not in use so the adhesive surface and edges remain clean.
